Tasks and responsibilities
- Your key responsibilities focus on backup, automation, and virtualization:
- Supporting ICT in configuring Windows Server roles/features and assisting with third-party application installations
- Managing and optimizing the Veeam Backup infrastructure
- Advancing the configuration management of the Windows Server environment (Salt-Stack)
- Automating server deployment with an emphasis on Windows Server
- Maintaining and evolving the on-premise infrastructure in collaboration with fellow system engineers
- Contributing to the smooth and reliable operation of the systems

Must-have criteria
- Solid IT Education
- Experience in complex, heterogeneous hybrid IT infrastructures (e.g., virtualization, networking, storage)
- Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Windows Server, its features, and roles
- Comprehensive skills in scripting/automation (e.g., PowerShell)
- Good knowledge of data center computing and networking (e.g., VLAN, DNS, firewall, etc.)
- Strong team orientation with a solution-focused, integrative mindset
- Experience with and enthusiasm for agile working methods (e.g., SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)

Nice-to-have criteria
- Experience with Linux servers (including Bash, Python) is an advantage
- Knowledge of Active Directory, Entra ID, and Azure Cloud Foundation is a plus
