Tasks and responsibilities

Monitoring and ensuring the continuous operation of applications in the Market Applications area
Acting as an interface between application users, the IT teams, and software suppliers
Identifying and evaluating business requirements and new functionalities in collaboration with business users, as well as independently planning new releases, updates, and testing
Continuously improving applications in terms of operational stability, availability, and cost-efficiency, while ensuring compliance with agreed Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and cybersecurity requirements
Actively participating in projects to further develop the application landscape while considering architectural guidelines
Creating custom reports and statistics related to business transactions and managing all necessary documentation
Providing 24/7 on-call support

Must-have criteria

Degree in Computer Science (HF/FH/University) or a comparable qualification
Several years of experience in Application Management and user support, or alternatively, senior-level development experience with in-depth knowledge of application operations
Hands-on experience in developing and operating cloud applications (preferably Azure Cloud) and familiarity with DevOps methodologies and security requirements
Proficiency in at least one programming language (preferably Java or C#), knowledge of IT architectures, technologies, interfaces, and application monitoring (preferably ELK Stack)
Understanding of data, configuration, and interface management as well as ITIL processes
Hands-on experience in requirement engineering and writing specifications
Strong customer focus, quick comprehension, and assertiveness
