Aufgaben und Verantwortungen
- Ensuring that technical solutions adhere to both organisational and overarching security standards
- Drive the analysis and implementation of improvements in security practices, incorporating relevant and modern industry approaches
- In collaboration with teams focused on user and access management, you will design and implement systems to control and secure access to critical organizational resources
- You will work closely with IT colleagues, providing advice and guidance on security matters to enhance the protection of applications and services, often in partnership with technical architects
- You will assist in monitoring threats, identifying potential risks, and suggesting mitigation strategies to maintain a strong security posture
- Security will be integrated into the development and operations processes you oversee, fostering an organisational culture that priorities security
- Collaborate with internal security teams, offering your expertise, addressing queries, and assessing the impact of various topics such as ongoing projects, cloud initiatives, and emerging vulnerabilities
- Representing the security perspective, you will participate in technical architecture discussions and support strategic IT planning efforts
- Ongoing learning and keeping up to date with relevant technologies, trends, and best practices in the field of security will be a key part of your role

Erforderlich
- A relevant academic background in fields such as IT, software development, or information security
- A strong technical foundation with extensive experience in designing and implementing security solutions, particularly in highly regulated industries
- Comprehensive knowledge of end-to-end technology delivery and familiarity with modern workflows like agile methodologies
- Hands-on expertise with major cloud platforms
- Familiarity with widely recognised security standards and regional regulatory requirements
- Communication skills to convey complex security concepts in simple terms and effectively interact with senior stakeholders

- Possession of certifications in information security (or equivalent qualifications) is an added advantage
